Notice under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

I write in relation to unwanted direct marketing which I have received from your company.

I require you to immediately stop processing personal information relating to me for direct marketing purposes. I also require you to confirm to me in writing within 30 days of the date of this letter that you have done so.

I confirm that this is my formal notice to you in accordance with Article 21 of the General Data Protection Regulations 2018. These provisions provide that where personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, the data subject (i.e me) shall have the right to object at any time to processing of the personal data concerning them for such marketing purposes. This includes profiling to the extent that it is related to direct marketing.

I hereby confirm my objection to you using my personal data in this manner and I require such processing to cease.

Please confirm that my request has been complied with in writing within 30 days.

In the event that I do not receive a satisfactory reply I confirm that I will seek further involvement / assistance from the Information Commission Office and / or my solicitors.
